Books, books, books. Oh how I love reading great books. When I think about reading to my kids I can’t help but think about all of the benefits. In fact, I recently read and pinned an excellent post on why it’s important to still read aloud to your teens from Susan at Homeschooling Hearts and Minds.
But when you are on a tight budget, it’s important to be strategic about when to borrow and when to buy. I explore how I navigate this balance in our family over at Free Homeschool Deals this week! Join me?
I’ll be back in a few days with my reading list for this year and read-alouds I plan to do with the family!

It’s true, so hard to decide! I usually try to find someone who recommends it, or if we borrow it first and then really like it, I’ll buy it. Most of the books we’ve bought I haven’t regretted, but the list is definitely ever growing :0)
