One of our favorite ‘art’ sections during our recent visit to the botanical gardens were these series of statues that represented the seasons. The one pictured above represented ‘winter’. All of us stood transfixed – adults down to even the active little boys…
The next day, Keegan sat down with his colored pencils and set to work making his own drawings of these magnificent statues. It is always a delight to watch children process their experiences through play – whether that is in the form of art, story telling or make-believe play.
I love the ripple effect our experiences can have in our lives – fueled by the imagination.
